Malta’s old capital city is characterized by mediaeval as well as baroque architecture. Mdina Cathedral dominates the main square and characterizes the town with its unique skyline. From the city’s bastions one can absorb the panoramic view of Malta’s north and eastern landscape.

Rabat

Rabat is the historical suburban town of Mdina. It is dotted with catacombs and many historical churches and convents that are worth visiting.

Dingli Cliffs

Dingli Cliffs form part of the dramatic landscape of the southern coast of the Maltese Islands, circa 230 meters above sea levels.

Buskett Gardens

A 30-minute walk from Rabat or Dingli. Buskett is the largest tree grove in the Maltese Islands. It sourrounds the historic Verdala Castle built, in 1588, by Grand Master Verdalle. The Palace serves as the official summer residence of the President of Malta.
